The marriage of Miss Mary Wyche to Alfred Franklin Burgess on last Saturday evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Granville Wyche, was an event of the most cordial interest to scores of friends. The wedding party is pictured above with the bride and bridegroom. The bride's attendants, reading from left to right are Miss Carrie Burgess of Greer, the bridegroom's sister, Miss Caro Wyche, the maid of honor, Miss Sara Wyche and Miss Caroline Goggans of Columbia, bride's maids. The men of the party are Bernard McClaugherty, of Bluefield, West Virginia, Walter W. Wilkins, the bridegroom, E.C. Bailey, Jr., of Greer, his best man and Tom Wofford of this city.
