1: Miss Hettie Wilson
Dear Cousin
Is it possible that I did not answer you last letter of sept. 12 I have been looking for a letter from you for sometime I was all this time thinking I had answered your letter but when I received Bertha's card I was most sure than I had not. I guess you think I am a strange kind of fellow anyway but I have just been so busy I have not hat time to turn round but this is a let up now and I can keep up my corresponding a little better I hope
2: How are you all getting along anyway. Has Uncle Wm sold his cotton or is he holding for 15 ¢ tell him I will give him 9 1/3 in a day or two if it keeps going down are you all making a good crop?
Has there been any more weddings lately? You know I learn very little of my old home community of late I hear nothing except what you write me I wrote Robt. Wilson some time ago and had to write him the second time before I [illegible].
What kind of thing are you having these days? Ask Bertha if she wants me to bring Mr. Moigan over the one she met at Greers 4th of July sometime ago he asked me if I had any kin folks that lived close to Pelham said he met a miss Wilson at Greers that was sweet as a peach
3: dont forget to tell her and write me what she says.
Tell Uncle Wm he can tell Greers New County "good bye" for we are going to knock it out of the box down this way.
Who is your best fellow now are you going to take him in about Xmas if so let me know and I will give work the Go bye till 4 can come down and see you off well I have no news to write so I will close please excuse a long delay and write me a long letter soon tell Cousin Bertha I will write her soon and give my love to all tell Uncle Wm Pa is going to move again Your Loving Cousin
