Sunday
Dear Mama, Daddy +all,
Hello and how are you all, I'm all right, I'm going some-where and I don't know where. I left Meade about ten to-day, wish I could have a pass this weekend but we didn't get any. I've seen a lot of country to-day, I don't think I'd like to live up here.
This is strange weather. It doesn't seem cold but you get cold after staying out for awhile.
See if you can find me a good pocket knife and a cigarette lighter, matches are hard to get, you can get the money from Rick.
Don't you all worry, even if I go overseas, it doesn't mean that I'll go straight into combat.
Well, I'll sign off. Write when you can. Tell all hello.
Love to all,
Bob.
Tell Fred + Ike I'll write them later.
