My Dear Girl,
I know you are cussing me completely out in fact Mr Hunt — Billie I should have said — told me you were. But Ett — my dear you know what a busy season this is. I have nearly stiched my legs off since I came home, & the worst of it all is I have got nothing to show for it. And you had all the fellows you could attend to last Sunday, didn’t you? I went to ride with Edd one aft since then & he told me something about their trip. I went to the picnic with Marshall yester day & just had a delightful time. I wish I could see you so I could tell you a few things. but no, no I could not think of writing them.
Fred was there I am going to one picnic with him next Wednesday.
Sunday 2½ P.M.
I began this on Friday but was interrupted by company coming in, so will try & finish this aft. Well I am just back from [Cherish ?] F.G.S. [wallee of home ?] with [Linde ?] Anderson tonight.
I want to know what you cussed Billie out so for, the day he & Fred were out to Greers. He told me.
& Gillerland & Luther did go. Edd gave me an account of Gillerlands abrupt departure. I always thought he was a “loony.” Have you any idea what was the matter with him. Ed was up for awhile Friday night. Bless his old [?on?] I dont know what is the matter with him. What did you tell him or rather did you tell him, I said I was trying to make him jealous? Marshall is just as cute & he well could be & Fred too. Aint I a fool?
I have got a funny little incident to tell you in connection with the picnic at Paris Mt. last Thursday when I see you. Now dont Emma & I think “we are getting these Eli”. How are you & Bill B – progressing I hear that he has most positively got the inside track of Billie H—
Let me tell you what a smart girl I was yesterday. I put me out a white dress at ten o’clock & made it all & went to ride in the aft for a while now wasn’t I smart.
Etta next time you come we can ride all we want to for we have a new phaeton to just live in it. Do you know anything more about Mamie’s wedding? Larrie’s wedding comes right in commencement week. I am sorry of that, but I [mril?] be away but one day.
You must write soon dont you dare wait a week.
Sincerely
Mm.
