My Darling Girl

I rec’d your letter only a few minutes ago and was of course delighted to hear from you. Reading your letters is the greatest pleasure I have here. you cant imagine how anxious I am to see you I am coming home as soon as I can but am afraid it will be Monday next before I can get back as I am not done business here yet and am obliging to go to Providence RI before I come home You see my dear it takes longer when you are on business and pleasure too I am spending but little money I am at a real nice place and only pay 8 per week for room and all and am with a regular S.C “gang” and we have lots of fun the servants are all Irish girls and we cant understand half they say and I hand them a pencil and say write it down and we have lots of fun Bartone Lee McDavid and I went out to “Starr” Theatre last night and Lawrence Baneth play “Yoncks Love” and it was immense look hear darling why dont you write me long letters you dont write half enough you can tell me the news about the store I am awful sorry you have such a cold I am ill the same fix and I have a terrible cough Dear I must close Your own
