I received your letter on yesterday was glad to hear from you I would have written to you before this but really was not able. I have not seen a well day since I saw you sometime in bed & sometimes up in the corner. but am feeling some better. Your Pa is still very poorly suffers all the time with a severe pain in his breast, I am very anxious for him to have another Dr. but he has not consented yet. he still thinks he will be able to go up and see Dr Jones, but I am not going to wait much longer, if he get any worse I will let you come home and see him. Miss Nima has your dress nearly done and your Cloak we are waiting for Mr. R & your Aunt to come down there is nothing for facings in the front & I fear it cant be bought here. tell them to come soon would be good to see them, and Mr R could knock the blues off for I know she is a good hand, Miss Nancy has gone to [Frate?] Jones she did not want to leave but I could not stand her any longer when I got sick I found she could not do at all alone. everything just is a mess. Miss Nina you know is all right when she goes to the cook room and at the machine she is always trying to fix something nice for your pa and you know that pleases me Well, Etta, I have rented the Piano to Mr. Lane for his new wife she has it in her bed room and proposes to give music lesson I know of no one only Fannie Cannon, Mr. Kenedy has a very large school and is very strict Edwin has caught a whipping at last Edgar has got several Fannie has escaped so far he says the children know nothing about discipline but thinks before long he will get them strait.
