Your letter was gladly recieved by us all. Was truly glad to what you was enjoying yourself so well, your Pa says in regard to your Music, try one Month, and he will pay by the Month provided you cant do any better ask your Aunt Eliza to inquire around and if cant do no better try Mrs. [Renedy?]
Now my dear daughter do try your best and surprise all these people, when you come home, you must remember your Pa is not very able to work, and his money comes hard, and you have advantages that many poor girls have not. try your best to improve every moment, Aunt Hannah Evans spent last night with us can talk as much as ever I have not been to see your Grandma since you left, but think of going tomorrow Edwin & Edgar is spending the day at your Cousin Mannys eating cherries –
Your Aunt Nancy Cousin Carrie Cousin Mattie, Pearl & Berthie spent tuesday with us. I was all dressed to spend the day at Mr. Stewards when they came I made it out yesterday afternoon, they are all preparing for the examination which will come off on friday before the fourth Sunday so I hear. Try and bring your Aunt with you when you come & her can come on Saturday at eleven & return Monday morning. Bettie talks a great deal about you and Fannie says you come home & let her go. you must write every week and let us hear how you are getting along
Looks upon your aunt as if she was your Mother she will give you no bad advice all join me in love to you both, your loving Mother
