The “Junior Monarch” was a standard tool for pricing items in stores during the early to mid-1900s; manual rotation of the crank stamped a price onto a tag or label.
This press was used in the Brandon Mill Store owned by Abner Corporation, located on Cooper Street in Greenville, S.C. Ansel Tucker was manager of the store and kept this item after it was no longer needed in the store. - Date
